Fancy getting away for a little longer than usual?
We have boats going out from a long weekend, to anything up to 6 months. We will do a great deal on the hire price, and provide support whilst you are out. It is a great way to see the country if you are visiting from abroad, and if you are considering buying your own boat it will give you the feel of what things are like whilst you are a bit further from home base.
Four weeks will allow you to get around the Thames Ring (down the Grand Union to London, onto the Thames, onto the Oxford Canal and back home.
3 Months will give you time to explore some of the northern canals – up to Manchester maybe? The Pennines? The Llangollen? Visit the unpronounceable aqueduct?
You will go out with a full tank of diesel, two full gas bottles and an empty toilet tank. Cost of fill and empty while you are out will be down to you. Also there are additional licence fees. For example if you want to cruise the Thames or The Avon Ring.
